Respite
Finding a capable caregiver who can care for your child and understand his/her needs can be a challenge. Not everyone has family or friends nearby or who are comfortable enough to spend time with your child while you attend meetings, go shopping, or just relax. This is where you can ask others for recommendations or references of people or agencies who offer respite. |

Does my child have a developmental delay/disability?
Perhaps some of our members are not yet connected to services and wondering if their child is in fact delayed/disabled… sharing stories on our observations of our children, how we might have come to a diagnosis, etc. could be very enlightening and reassuring to those members. |
